Photography Club
Join our Photography Club and explore your passion for photography with fellow enthusiasts.
Our club aims to equip our students with the skills to effectively use the camera and explore various ways and techniques to produce great photographs. Our students are given the opportunity to use specialised equipment to create them. Students discover, acquire and practise new skills and techniques when they participate in the classroom, practical sessions, including Learning Journeys.
Our students also participate in club-initiated projects and competitions. One such competition is our in-house DPS Photography Competition in which students’ creativity and photo-taking skills are recognised. In addition, students’ photographs are showcased on a yearly basis in Heartbeat@ Bedok Library Exhibition. Furthermore, students are also given opportunities to develop their collaboration, communication and information skills while also developing their civic literacy, global awareness and cross-cultural skills within them.
As photographers, our students recognise that they have the potential to be the positive influencers to their peers and understand the role and responsibility in the community.
