What we learnt during CCA
In 2026, our Red Cross Links embark on the updated RCY curriculum. As part of their journey, they will deepen their understanding of the global Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and the work of the Singapore Red Cross through Basic Red Cross Knowledge.
They will also build valuable life skills through subjects such as Basic First Aid. In addition, they will gain foundational knowledge in Disaster Management, Foot Drill and Health Education.
To better support our Links’ holistic development, Mental Well-being continues to be an important focus in the curriculum, equipping them with tools to care for both themselves and others.
Beyond curriculum lessons, they will have the opportunity to take part in events organised by Singapore Red Cross Headquarters, including the World Red Cross Day Celebration and Enrolment Ceremony, First Aid Championship, Disaster Risk Reduction Competition, Ambassador of Blood Competition, and Linkamania.
Through these learning experiences and activities, we aim to nurture compassion, resilience, and leadership in every Link, guiding them to grow into confident and caring young humanitarians.
